Salt Lake City Moose had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Missoula Maulers.
Salt Lake City Moose got the win behind a great game by Martin Tolkner, who had two goals and one assist. Tolkner scored the first of his two goals at 19:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Salt Lake City Moose. Viktors Ponatovskis assisted on the tally. Tolkner's next tally made the score 5-2 Salt Lake City Moose with 30 seconds left in the third period.
